Whether it’s “you’ve got to fake it to make it,” or “effort in equals profit out.” It’s all about the bootstraps and the hustle. And boy was I hustling.
I was up and out of the house at 6 am somedays and other days, I didn’t get home until 9, 10, 11 o’clock at night.
But no matter how many networking events I went to, no matter how many coffee/lunch/breakfast meetings I attended, I was not gaining any traction.
It felt like the harder I worked, the less return I saw. And every single event had alcohol!
No matter how much I bootstrapped, no matter how hard I worked, how many business books I read, how many networking events I went to, I just couldn’t break into those elusive networking and referral groups for my service based business.
